| WODCA |
| Synthesis design by retro-synthetic
analysis. |
|
|
|
 |
Features |
|
- applies four retrosynthetic strategies to disconnect
a target compound into synthetic precursors
- validates retrosynthetic strategies by checking
its occurrence in reaction databases such as for instance
InfoChem's ChemSynth database
- allows fast compound substructure and reaction substructure
search
- provides access to chemical databases to define
commercial availability of starting materials or building
blocks
- offers easy registration of supplier's electronic
catalogs of chemical compounds using CatalogBuilder
- provides easy registration of in-house reactions
via RDFiles

User Interface
|
|
| Interactive user interface for an
easy control of the synthesis design process. |
|
 |
System Requirements |
|
- SUSE Linux (Release 8/9, Kernel 2.4/2.6 for x86, AMD64)
- Windows 98/2000/XP clients require the
installation of WODCA on a Linux server and the usage
of HOBLink X11 which is bundled with WODCA.

Please note: The active development, support and distribution of WODCA has been stopped since the beginning of year 2005.
Currently, Molecular Networks is developing a novel, web-based, easy-to-use tool for the stepwise retrosynthetic analysis of a given target compound called Retrosynthesis Browser (RSB). RSB scans reaction databases to suggest new synthetic routes and simultaneously searches in catalogs of available starting materials for the proposed precursors.
If you are interested in further information about RSB as soon as it is available please send an e-mail to info|at|molecular-networks.com.
